Why ?
I disagree , people get old then die.
If age is nothing but a number, why aren't there any 200-year-old people walking around?
Age really is just a number. I met a 67 year old woman in my Kettlebell class last week that completly put me to shame. I just started Kettlebell training because I heard it is the ultimate full body workout that get's results quickly. lots of hollywood types train with kettlebells when they need to get in shape quickly for a part. Anyway, this woman had only trained for about 8 months and she didn't look a day over 50 – she was simply glowing. she probably eats well, but she seemed to think that Kettlebells changed here life and I'm ready for it to change mine. We have a local kettlebell gym here in Portland called Skogg System and I believe they just released a DVD which is apparently very close the class experience.
let me know how it works for you if anyone gives it a try – I'm seeing results already after only 3 weeks.
"Age" is certainly part number, but also part genetics, and part health. Look at a 50 year-old who does not exercise, smokes, and drinks, then look at their identical twin who does not smoke nor drink and exercise at least 1 hour per day and there will be a drastic difference. All of us quite a large degree of control over our "age". I expect this to increase as we learn more and more about which foods have more direct control over our genes, etc. In the meantime, vary your exercise (kettle is great, but please also do cardio and weights and stretch with yoga/pilates; swimming is the BEST all-around exercise as it also requires breathing control and enhances how much oxygen your blood can carry). After 3 weeks of any exercise program you should definitely notice good results!
I precisely had to thank you so much yet again.
