Becoming the 'healthiest man alive'Author A.J. Jacobs has made a name for himself by self-imposing extreme challenges on his lifestyle, and then writing about them. Recently, he decided he would try to live as healthy a life as possible, and that means following whatever health advice is out there. He once also tried to live according to all of the many hundreds of rules in the Bible for an entire year. He discussed these projects at TEDMED, an annual gathering of innovative thinkers in San Diego, California, in October. Jacobs is apparently working on a new book, too, but its subject is top secret until the spring, his publicist said. Also, check out CNN's interview with A.J. last year here. |

Surprisingly funny.
Was this meant to be an article, or an advertisement?
In America the problem is the food. If it's been processed it might not be food, any more. What they do in the name of processing is often secret and not disclosed. If you put this processed stuff in your mouth you are making one big leap of faith.
You got it. It's almost impossible to eat completely healthy, or I should say, as we were intended to eat, here in America. But at least we have many options available to us that other countries don't. You can find almost all kids of foods here.
"This just in: A.J. Jacobs, the quote, healthiest man alive, was struck and killed by a beer truck as he was crossing the street!"
This guy is hilarious and brilliant!! I can wait to read his book!
This will be another case of good advice completely ignored by most, because after all.......our lives are totally programmed by our creator. That is the reason for compulsive behavior. It's also the reason our life paths turn out the way they do. Our emotional reactions are our controlling factors, along with our mental and physical gifts and our genes.
Woah this weblog is excellent i love studying your posts. Keep up the good paintings! You already know, a lot of individuals are hunting round for this info, you can aid them greatly.
